What’s New in AI Image Generation?

OpenAI has replaced DALL·E 3 with a completely new model. It’s now built right into GPT-4.0, the tool we’re already using daily.

Here’s what’s changed:

• Photorealistic images: some are almost indistinguishable from real photos.
• Much better text rendering: no more spelling mistakes.
• Supports reference images: you can upload logos, photos, screenshots.
• Integrated in ChatGPT: you don’t need another tool.

But there’s a twist…

It’s still a bit slow. Expect around a minute per image, not instant, but manageable.

Also, it currently creates just one image at a time (unlike Midjourney which gives you four options). Still, the quality and convenience make up for it.

This is where it gets interesting. I uploaded a photo of myself and asked for a version with a branded T-shirt.

It isn’t 100% accurate, but it’s getting close. If you want to overlay your real logo or fix small details, that’s easy, too. Just upload your files and ask ChatGPT to use them.

Create AI-Generated eBook Mockups

This one’s powerful. I had a new guide on AI, privacy and security. I uploaded the front cover and asked GPT to turn it into a 3D product shot.

This will look great on a landing page or social post. You can use this trick for any eBook, report or downloadable PDF.
